I study the intersections of policy, leadership, and epistemic transformation in education, drawing on policy sociology, equity leadership, and transpacific perspectives to reimagine how schools, systems, and scholarly communities know and organize themselves. Across my work, I aim to contribute to shaping knowledge, systems, and praxis that make educational spaces more humane and just.

- How school and community leaders reshape epistemic landscapes toward more just forms of education, tracing how justice is imagined and enacted across generations and geographies.
- How methodological practices can be reimagined to humanize scholarly inquiry and honor voices and lived experiences at the margins.

Teaching and Curricular Development
I have designed and taught courses on education policy, leadership, qualitative methods, and comparative education across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. Prior to entering higher education, I spent more than seven years in K-12 education in South Korea as a teacher, teacher leader, and school consultant.
I am also committed to curriculum development as a way to advance student learning. Most recently, I designed and led a study abroad program at UNL, Education, Culture, and Inquiry in South Korea (Summer 2025).
